I am now using ms xp and everytime I boot up this xp I am pestered by ms to upgrade to a newer pc and use their windows 8. My pc is quite old but still usable and I dun have the means to acquire a new one, the present pc is also a gift from a neighbour who migrated a few years ago.
I have tried to make my usb stick bootable by following instructions from the internet but so far all I manage to get was the ISO file was unzipped? and many subdirectories were created but none can be used to boot up.
I hope someone can show me how to download any linux os in a simple and plain language so that I can migrate to a linux os.
