In line with your suggestion, I think what’s better is that those who has gone negative during the course of the season will do battle in the losers’ pool where they can vie for the bottom 10 awards. In this way, all members will get to participate till the end.

As for your NBA suggestion, I’m against incorporating it together with the Soccer because not everyone is well versed with NBA. I for one knows nothing about it.

Bro, I understand that the proposer is simply trying to make TC realistic as in our own real life betting where our pocket limit’s concerned. Would my counter-proposal of the winners and losers pool be feasible then somewhere down the road?

No cutoff date needed.
The moment one reaches negative territory, be it on the second day or second last day, he’ll go over to the losers’ pool to compete for the bottom 10 award.
In that sense, the later one goes over, the lesser the chance of winning (finishing bottom that is) also.
My suggestion is purely so that everyone can compete till the end and no one will be left out.
TC is a useful guide for our own bets as well. It’s not right to not let one continue participating at any point in time.

I was only giving an alternative to peacenjoy’s suggestion as I don’t agree that members should be disqualified from TC upon hitting negative figures. I’m all for TC remaining status quo.

Perhaps you can re-suggest this for next TC simply because as it is now, Mr AB has implemented the ‘bottom10’ and will be looking into your 5/7/10 winning streak bonus.
Any implementations, when new, will definitely have some teething issues. Let’s just try to iron out issues as they re-surface slowly.

For parlays, the max odds/winnings must be capped because it’s not good if someone were to finish in the top 50 by hitting one parlay with gigantic odds while doing nothing for the season.

if so, then should we have negative bonus for losing streak as well?
This serves as an incentive for the bottom 10 and a penalty for the top 50.
Otherwise, bonus for winning streak will penalize those vying for the bottom 10 with no incentive as compensation.
