With great pleasure, I wish to extend invitation to any members currently without a team, or someone (like me) who needs a change of environment for the new season. It took me great courage to finally make the decision of leaving my previous team "GSB Club" after loyally serving since its inception. I'd like to thank my ex-leader Bro H22A and ex-team members (some are Pg kia buddies who will always remain in my heart).

My hope is to have members who are consistent, persistent, and have a never-say-die attitude in their quest for top tipster glory. In other words, team ACTIVE TIPSTaRS is strictly ONLY for ACTIVE TIPSTERS who will continue to fight no matter how well (or poor) they are doing. Members who are unable to sustain their interest or motivation after a certain period of time will be removed with notification. For me, it's the commitment and quality that count.

  		Hi bro nice guy, gd job in creating a new team. I'm looking for a change of environment as well but my situation is different from others. I created my current team "Recovery" in 2010 when i was posting very actively in the running forums and since then, can say our team was active almost every day but till now, even myself have stopped jalaning due to commitments and restrictions and i can see from the list of members in my team tat majority of them are not active in posting or even in the AB tipster competition so i think its a good time for me to disband the team and join others. 

Chanced upon ur thread and supported ur idea of being actively trying for the top 50 AB Tipster Medal thus having the idea to disband and join urs n fight for the medal together.......only after i figure out how to disband first! hahaha

Thank you for your encouraging words Bro. It is an honour to have you in the team since you've won it twice and we have a lot to learn from you. This assured me alot coz at the beginning, I was apprehensive that no one will join as almost everyone would already belong to a team by now. It would be unethical to persuade anyone to jump ship, so possibly the new members only but I may not know them or vice versa. I didn't want to build a team that glorifies my nick and I reflected on my main lowlight -- seeing hundreds of inactive nicks that only make up the numbers. Therefore, I hope to build around genuine members who are active and still hungry.

It's true tat most members in AB already belong to teams tat r established way back but I'm also quite sure there r many who r looking for a change due to team inactive or simple just bcoz they like the team name. Nevertheless, I think our team will be successful with all active n hungry members striving for top 50!

Didn't expect Fio allows 4 goals, didn't forecast Valencia @ ManU spoiled the big match as well.

Nice to hear that, Bro polyares. Didn't notice we're up to 10th place now. At the beginning, we were 12th, then 11th and now 10th. Voila, step by step and hope we can continue to move up the ranks in time to come despite having a relatively small team compared to others. 

p/s: I've decided to put up a fresh team selection on a weekly basis (Wed evening) depending on our ranking. So, naturally the top 11 performers will 'take the field' for the whole week. I can see you holding a regular place in the team, Bro. Keep it going.

Yup, I didn't see fio letting in 4 as well, saw a draw 0-0 or 1-1 on the cards instead! The other big bet tat failed me was cordoba, took under 2 n all was going well until the match starts to kelong with goals coming in at 78,88 n 90!!! Really pissed me off! Yes bro! We can definitely become gd buddies not only in here but in real life as well if we have the chance to meet up. If I were to visit Penang one day with my family, I would surely let u noe so we can meet up to either have a meal or even la kopi session. Same thing if u r traveling to sg, let me noe n i can go be ur "ah mat" n drive u n ur family around for a city tour.

p/s: yes buddy, noticed the remark bout the captain's armband but I dun think I'm up to the task yet. I think bro klg would suit the role better as he is better in motivating others from wat I observed in his posts. Really appreciate your generosity offering the additional prizes and I believe it would be an added motivation for our team members. The tricky parts that I can foresee later are in terms of team loyalty, delivery logistics and privacy issues. 

1. What if towards the end of the competition, some random Bros who would finish amongst the top but are not originally from our team decided to join at the last minute to grab the extra gifts? 

2. Besides SG and MAS, there are possibly members from various countries in AB. e.g. Indonesia, Myanmar, Vietnam, China, etc. Bro polyares is from South Korea, right? It would pose great trouble for you to become Santa. And worst, if the gifts didn't reach the winner due to unforeseen circumstances, there bound to be negative feelings.

3. What if some Bros are not comfortable to bring virtual friendship to real life? They may wish to remain anonymous and may not be willing to divulge personal info such as address for delivery or personal contact to meet later. It could also be against AB rules to ask for personal info, right. 

I could probably be wrong and thinking too far or unnecessarily. This really needs further thinking before it can be implemented. It could still work if endorsed by Mr AB and admin team. What do you think Bro? Thank you so much.

Yes bro, i understand what ur quieires are so here are my answers:

1) We should set a rule that the prizes only applies to team members who are already in the team before the start of the competition for every season so those who joined us after each start of the competition will not be awarded the prizes for the current season but only the AB top 50 medal and prize tat AB is awarding.

2) For this situation, I have no issues with the sponsorship of the mentioned prizes as i have a relative who is doing wholesale of these gifts. As for the nationality of our members, its up to the trust they give to me so as long as they qualify, i will mail it to them if they are overseas. I'm sure we both know and everyone in AB knows as well, to be in the top 50 is not an easy feat, not to mention being in the top 20......so i think its only right for us to acknowledge their accomplishment if our members really do qualify in the top 20! wink

3) I too have thought bout this issue and if indeed, some members do not wish to disclose their contacts to us thru PM n wishes to remain anonymous, then we should respect their decision but their prizes will be forfieted and only AB prizes will be awarded to them. Regarding the rules of AB, i think it is only right to seek permission of MR AB and the admins for their permission to get the contacts of our members is they qualify for the prize and wish to collect it.

Hope i have answered all ur quieries bro. U r certainly not thinking too much but only for the interests n well being of our team so its only natural to asks the questions. laugh

I think the archive is a great project coz it keeps us up to date who joined on which date and who is active n who is not! It will also be a good tracking system to award prizes in the event of our members achieving top 20 as we need to see if their joining date is outside of the prizes awarded for tat particular season! usually by 2500K u will be very safe in the top 50s.....if u wanna br top 20 or even top 10.......something between 3200-3800K sometimes even 4000+k if the top few keeps winning n chasing.

Thanks for the info, Bro. Didn't know that until you pointed out. I mean I'm fine with people choosing to leave one day, but isn't it a courtesy to drop a note? I was surprised to see the number dwindled this morning, but choose to take it positively like what Captain Lancer always emphasised on. 

p/s: But I'd like to suggest to Mr AB to have a function to 'join or leave' a team so there is better control. No point having sleeping or disloyal members around, at least there are some steps taken towards that now. Time will tell.

Would like to appreciate all of you for choosing Team Active Tipstars. Our best team rank so far was 9th but now we're at 12th placing after a few thunderbets claypot for a few buddies. Morning, Bro OSCAR. Sad to see another member left coz we already struggling to add more members. Perhaps he choose to leave as he's not doing too well or coz of other reasons that we do not know.
