For the 2nd consecutive year running. That is no mean feat.

Congrats to Arsenal for being back to back Christmas Champions!

To me it's not important whether you go on to finish as Premier League Champions.
All that is important is to make sure to secure Christmas Champions.
Why so?

See ar...
Everyone celebrates Christmas or could enjoy the festive season with Christmas as a massive holiday.
BUT
Not everyone watches English Premier League!

So in the greater context of things, I think it is more impressive to finish as Christmas Champions.
As long as you have achieved that, it doesn't matter if you drop off after that. For example bottling the Premier League at the end of the season. Who cares.

All that matters is being Christmas Champions!
