Extracted from other source Actually a lot of people fail to understand how to win in blackjack. You need to get BLACKJACKs, You need to DOUBLE DOWN when the opportunity arise. You need to SPLIT when ur cards allow you to and if you can DOUBLE DOWN when the Dealer has weak cards, you capitalise on situations. Why MBS has Pontoon tables now when in the past they have none? Because PONTOON makes money from rules that are not advantageous. The lack of 10s, when we need to DOUBLE DOWN, we are at disadvantage. Probability of getting PONTOON is lower. People play because they are greedy for getting money 1st when they hit 21 points. They fail to understand that this is not the rule that makes a person win money. PONTOON lowers the chances for players to win money from the table. MBS double down on any 2 cards. RWS only 9,10,11. What about A3, A4, A5, A6, A7? These are very good double down opportunities which are taken away by RWS. Given these opportunities, anyone can just see closely even in MBS how many people will double down on these situations when dealer's cards are weak? It's very very rare. There is no point hitting 17,18,19,20 points from own cards on the BLACKJACK table. The greatest opportunities lies in having more situations like double down, splitting, splitting and double down, blackjacks.
